The statistics of passengers in the year 2012 was 19,424,032 which were increased to 19,904,327 in the year 2013. Incheon international airport was the main airport of Seoul before Gimpo Airport. It has become the main airport in the year 2001. Large number of passengers has made it a third largest airport of South Korea. Gimpo was a name of railway line in the city that no longer exists. It was a ground transportation system started by the owners of airport but closed it later.
