Nuremberg is a city within the administrative region of Middle Franconia. It is situated in the state of Bavaria. It lies about 150 kilometers north of Munich. Nuremburg is near the Pegnitz River and the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal. The city is the largest one in Franconia and the second largest in Bavaria. The first is Munich. Serving such a big city is the Nuremberg Train Station. It has 21 platforms and is the largest in north Bavaria. It provides a way of mobility between various German cities. The station deals with 450 trains daily. It serves over 180,000 people per day.
