You even get to watch a short movie that will help you understand why and how these tunnels were constructed. These tunnels have meeting rooms, halls and hospitals all incorporated in the maze –it’s quite fascinating.

This UNESCO world heritage site located in Central Vietnam was once the capital city during the Nguyen Dynasty in the 1800s. It can be found on the banks of the Perfume River named this way because of the fragrant flowering orchards located along its banks. It’s a collection of hundred of ruins and monuments including royal tombs, pagodas, a temple, library and magnificent remains of the Forbidden Purple City among other attractions. You will have no problems moving around as the city is quite compact and there are lots of cycles and motorbikes around.
